SecondWave is a sustainability project building a trimaran from repurposed plastics and recycled materials, with plans to sail around the UK coastline. I produced and edited a campaign film and supporting social content to help communicate the project’s mission, attract supporters and build momentum ahead of its crowdfunding campaign.
Alongside original interviews and workshop footage, I combined licensed stock footage, motion graphics and AI-generated video to visualise ideas that couldn’t yet be filmed, including the finished trimaran sailing around the UK.
The project demonstrates how I can combine traditional production with emerging AI tools and motion design to create ambitious campaign content even when the finished product, location or event doesn’t yet exist.
