I’m Isaak Johansson, a British-Canadian freelance video editor, videographer, and producer working across documentary, corporate, and promotional content.

My work is shaped by a background in marine conservation and environmental sustainability. This experience allows me to translate complex subjects into clear, engaging narratives that connect with audiences and inspire action.

I work in two complementary ways.

As a freelance editor and post-production specialist, I collaborate with production agencies on corporate campaigns and event coverage. I’m comfortable working within established workflows, supporting videographers and producers to deliver polished edits under tight deadlines.

Alongside this, I operate as a producer through my company, Joso Productions, managing projects from concept to completion. This includes developing ideas, shaping stories, overseeing production and delivering final films. When required, I draw on a trusted network of creative specialists to scale projects efficiently and responsibly.

Joso Productions has a strong focus on conservation and impact-driven projects, helping organisations transform their work into films that secure funding, reach new audiences, and create lasting change.

We also produce high-quality content for corporate clients, events, and promotional campaigns, and have worked with organisations such as British Council and a range of creative agencies.

I take an editing-first approach to production, often building films from existing footage to reduce costs and carbon impact. When new filming is needed, I work with small, light-footprint crews or provide remote guidance for interviews, voiceovers, and supporting visuals. Throughout post-production, collaboration is central, ensuring each film reflects its goals, message, and audience.
