Corporate event videos capture the key moments, atmosphere, and energy of an event, transforming them into compelling content that drives future ticket sales and promotes the value of attending. These videos follow a proven structure, combining interview soundbites, music, graphics, and fast-paced editing to communicate the key themes of an event in a concise one to two minute format. ​When required, I can deliver a finished event highlight within a 12-hour turnaround. I achieve this by working remotely alongside the production team as footage is uploaded throughout the day. This allows me to review material and begin assembling sequences before the full shoot is complete. The result is a fast, efficient workflow that enables rapid delivery without compromising quality.

The UK government has committed to protecting and restoring 30% of land and sea for nature by 2030 — but the real challenge lies in improving the condition of existing landscapes, not just protecting them. This event is part of that shift. Bringing together organisations, businesses, and volunteers, the day focused on hands-on restoration — with 50 people planting around 1,000 trees to help regenerate natural scrub habitat in the South Downs. Delivered as part of the Weald to Waves initiative led by Knepp Wildland Foundation, the project aims to create a 100-mile nature corridor across Sussex, reconnecting fragmented habitats and supporting biodiversity recovery. In collaboration with 1% for the Planet, Forests Without Frontiers, and Westerlands Farm, the day highlights how businesses can play a role by offering staff time to engage directly with nature. For participants, it’s an opportunity to step away from the office, connect with others, and contribute to something tangible. For nature, it’s both immediate restoration and longer-term support through awareness and funding. Small actions — like a day spent planting trees — can form part of a much larger movement towards nature recovery.

Meaningful Futures is a social innovation initiative bringing together young people, changemakers, businesses and community organisations to explore the social and environmental challenges shaping their communities. The programme gives 16–18 year old students the opportunity to work alongside organisations already creating positive change, exploring themes including sustainability, social justice, systems thinking and meaningful employment. I produced, directed and edited a short documentary-style film capturing the energy and ideas behind the programme. Filmed across two fast-paced workshop days, the project involved capturing interviews and conversations with students, educators and changemakers. The edit became an important part of the storytelling process. With hours of interview footage to work through, the challenge was to find the connections between different voices and perspectives, shaping them into a concise narrative that reflected the optimism, collaboration and ambition at the heart of Meaningful Futures. The final film was created to help communicate the programme's vision and support its future growth.

A giant flightless seabird in the Northern Hemisphere? The Great Auk truly was the Penguin of the North. Using AI generated visuals, this film explores what this extinct bird might have looked like in the wild. Produced over two days, the visuals and voiceover were generated with AI. The script, editing, sound design and overall art direction were developed by me. Natural history is an area where AI visualisation can open up new storytelling possibilities for species and events we can no longer film.

'The Joy of Encounter', a Meditatio gathering with WCCM UK, took place from 2 to 4 June 2025 at Ampleforth Abbey, York. It was led by Terry Doyle, Holistic Wellbeing Coach, Tai Chi Teacher and a long-time meditator & Kate Middleton, director of Meditatio, the outreach for WCCM and a long-time meditator. Along with some of the most marginalised adults from Teesside including Saltburn Recovery group and North East Opera, participants gathered to learn from and listen to each other; sharing stories, meditating and eating together and exploring what it means to become marginalised and how meditation can support us to find our common humanity. Forests Without Frontiers is a non-profit organisation dedicated to restoring ecosystems through native tree planting and community engagement. Their unique approach blends conservation with creative arts, using music and storytelling to inspire deeper connections to nature. In Sussex, they’re actively re-wilding sites like Wilderlands Farm, helping to regenerate woodland and foster environmental education.
